Christmas Birthday

On Christmas Eve at moms house we had a cake for Jesus and celebrated his birth. The cake was made with cup cakes put in the shape of a heart. We talked about the night Jesus was born and who was there, and the events that led to the birth. Sarah Reese sang a song, Who's Child is This, she did a very good job. enjoy the pictures.........

College Education

I have finished another semester of school at Metro State College of Denver( I know im still a greenie) and finishing the year of '08 by relaxing and enjoying the holidays. My major is in Human Services with the concentration of Donestic Violence, but am leaning towards Social Services and child Psycology along hard road.

Beautiful at 15

Sarah is in high school and is turning into a beautiful young woman. She is interested in languages- Spanish; mostly because her fathers family is from Coima, Mexico and spanish is their first language. She has taken on more hispanic traits and is tall like her father( Lucio Hernandez) also her great- grand father ( Sanford Stanley Sumruld). I hope that this interest will give her many options in her futer, maybe she can work in foriegn counties with embassadors or as an interputer. She has mentioned the FBI, way to set your goals high. Her school is the East High (www.eastangels.org) the oldest high school in Denver; which also has graduated many famous people, take alook for yourself www.ancientangels.org. She is a freshman and is struggling to keep up with such aload. (Pictures will be up-loaded just as soon as I get them printed)

Viola Concert

Isaiah has decided to take up the viola this year and had his first concert at school for the holiday season. They played a ray of songs from different countries around the world and sounded great. He quickly moved from beginner to intermediate and passed the intense testing of the judges from other schools to be able to play in the concert. He has also taken up the piano which has informed me that he wants a piano for Christmas. Anyone know of pianos that are being given away or are on distcount.

The picture on top is from the back of the concert hall, Isaiahs sitting on the end.

Beautiful Denver Homes

One of the perks of living in Denver is the historic buildings and homes that are 100 years old or more. This home is across the street from where we live and is owned by WarrenVillage. It's one that I would love to own-maybe one day.
